We Are

Site Solutions, Inc., a commercial real estate consultancy and brokerage venture serving an astute and varied clientele throughout the greater Central Texas region since 2001.
We maintain that there’s a commercial real estate component to every business plan, no matter how modest or ambitious, speculative or need-based. As such, we recognize that you’re looking to maximize your profits, minimize your risks and establish the most favorable set of terms and conditions for the real estate transaction you’re proposing to enter in to. Our clients range from private individuals and non-profits to start-ups and publicly-traded corporations. Buyers and sellers, tenants and landlords, investors and developers, dreamers and schemers, and every possible type of landowner populate our list of Done Deals (and ‘Valiant Efforts’ for that matter). In a nutshell: we delight in bringing our knowledge, expertise and decades of experience to commercial real estate transactions.
Susan H Harris
President
Susan founded Site Solutions, Inc. on March 1, 2001 backed by 18 years of commercial real estate brokerage and consulting experience gained at both the Trammell Crow Company (1998 – 2001) and NAI/Commercial Industrial Properties Company (1984 – 1998). Susan has a reputation for being a straight-talking, hard-working, detail-oriented broker and consultant. She’s described by others as visionary, steadfast, endlessly curious, and a creative problem solver – all hallmarks of her professional and personal success.
Susan began leasing and selling commercial and industrial buildings in 1984 under the tutelage and mentorship of the esteemed Frank Niendorff. In 1988, Frank encouraged her to add land sales and site location services to her skill set (when there was an abundance of inexpensive land to sell and practically no buyers for it). She was hooked after her first sale, which was the 500-acre Block House Creek commercial tract, then home to a herd of overfed longhorn cattle and now bisected by US Hwy 183-A and home to Cedar Park’s primary commercial district. Susan has never calculated the total volume of real estate transactions she has been a part of (so please don’t ask). Instead, she values the lasting relationships, transformational impact on the region, and client successes that have been the outcome of her efforts and her measure of success. In Susan’s latest career iteration, she and her husband develop, lease and manage office-warehouse properties, and actively invest in commercial sites throughout Central Texas.
Among the Founding Families of Trinity Episcopal School of Austin, Susan served on its first Board of Directors. In 1999, she identified the site and assembled the first 15 acres for the school’s Westlake Campus. A year earlier, Susan became the first female Board Chair for the Real Estate Council of Austin. Over the years, she has served on the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce Board and Executive Committee, the Austin Revitalization Authority Board, the Waller Creek Citizens Advisory Committee, the City of Austin Zoning and Platting Commission, and is a past chair of the Commercial Leasing Brokers Association (now Commercial Brokers Assoc.). Susan is a past board member for Zach Theatre and the Texas Hunter and Jumper Association, and most recently served on the Vestry of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd where she volunteers in a variety of capacities. Her current passion project is working with the Driftwood Historical Conservation Society to restore the Driftwood Community Center and vitalize the DHCS mission (do ask about that!).
Susan has been married to John Bolt Harris since 1986. Together they celebrate their extended family and being grandparents, enjoying a variety of outdoor activities, travel and live music. Susan is an organic gardener, beekeeper and equestrian, which activities result in unmanicured finger nails and prolific amounts of produce and insect bites. An avid reader, she is likely to ask “What are you currently reading?”
Susan holds a BA (1982) and a BBA (1983) from The University of Texas at Austin. She is a graduate of the Education for Ministry program from Sewanee’s School of Theology and holds a self-bestowed PhD in post-hole digging, large mammal wrangling and environmental conservation.

We Do

Commercial and Industrial Building Sales, Commercial Land Sales, and Site Location Consulting.
We understand that a client’s needs are about so much more than just “the physical real estate”. It may be about employee productivity and morale; or visibility and access; or use and size flexibility. It may be about active investing or dealing with passive income. It may be for the sheer excitement of the next development opportunity.
